Guardians of Graves (Unique Witch Patron)

Psychopomps and death gods chose you to share their burden and pacify unresting spirits. You gain the slumber hex at 1st level, but dead and lost spirits search your help to pass to the afterlife. Undead and incorporeal creatures have a +1 bonus on Perception and Sense Motive checks against you, and you take a -1 penalty on Bluff and Stealth checks against them.

Unique Witch Patron: Azata’s Freedom

 I find unfair that unique patrons for witches, or bloodlines, differentiate between Infernal and Abyssal but have an item only for Celestial. Time to rectify that.

Azata’s Freedom (Unique Witch Patron)

The empyreal lords and ladies of Elysium infused you with their joy and freedom powers. You gain the protective luck hex at 1st level, but your patron expects you to be a champion for their cause. You must be of chaotic good alignment, and you suffer a -2 penalty on save DCs of spells that bind, imprison, or paralyze a target.

Available Patron Themes: Agility, Enchantment, Spring, Stars

Spell Changes: 2nd—burst bonds, 16th—greater planar ally (azata only), 18th—freedom.

Dealing With Glamour: Witches and the Fey (Part I)

Well, the list of authors for the next Wayfinder (theme: the fey and the First World) is out, and I'm not in it. This is the bad news. The good news is that I get to republish my submission here in my blog.
One article was another homage to Pratchett: more precisely, to Lords and Ladies. If there are witches who pledge fealty to a fey patron to receive spells, there also are those who fight agains fey and other otherworldly intruders on their own turf!
So here's to you. First (and shortest) part: The Fey Patron.
