Conduit Feats For Aardvark Press Is Out!

Some time ago, Julian Neale from Aardvark Press proposed me an idea for a book of conduit feats- abilities tied to the planes of existence that characters who passed a long time on those planes could use. Introduced in Planar Adventures, conduit feats have a great flavor and fascination but there were too few of them! It was a shame to leave such a promising field so under-exploited.

So I made the most of it! Here are 101 new conduit feats tied to all the main planes, such as aura feats, archetype feats, weapon feats, planar bleeding feats, and more! I hope you will enjoy reading this book as much as I enjoyed writing it.

And of course, tomorrow the 102nd feat will be on my Patreon page. Don’t miss it!

Magic Tricks For Aardvark Press Is Out!

Hi all! I am busy as always with new issues of the Library, but when friends wish to work with me, I don’t say no!
Welcome to this new book, Magic Tricks! Originally appearing in two softcover Pathfinder First Edition books, Magic Trick is a feat that allows spellcasters to use a single spell in new ways, as long as prerequisites are met.

In those two books, each introduced Magic Trick for use with the following eight spells: daylightfireball, floating diskmage handobscuring mistprestidigitationshield, and unseen servant. This book reprints those for the reader’s convenience, and introduces twenty more, for the following spells: burning handscontrol waterglitterdustlightning boltmagic missilepillar of lifeAPGplant growthrainbow patternresplendent mansionUIscintillating patternscrivener’s chantSOSspell turningsummon instrumentsunbeamtelekinetic spheretime stopwall of icewall of iron, and wall of stone.

Each Magic Trick feat includes some lore, which might inspire GMs and/or players with campaigns or characters. The tricks themselves may inspire gameplay in new ways, or inspire players with ideas for new characters.

This content might be perfect for your campaigns!

And tomorrow, there will be a little piece of exclusive content to celebrate on my Patreon page. Look forward for it!

Conversion Series: Magic Items 5 By Aardvark Press

Today I advertise a new book by my friend Julian Neale of Aardvark Press. You can find the book on Drivethru.

This post already appeared for patrons only on my Patreon page. If you wish to see stuff in advance and have access to other rewards, please consider donating!

Conversion Series: Magic Items 5

Presented here are many new magic items, converted from (or inspired by) the Pathfinder Second Edition adventure books (mostly #186-189 and 191-195), as well as a few other sources. They include new specific types of shield, new specific weapons, two new types of talismans, new wondrous items, and much more!

There is also a new type of magic item in this book, the campsite meal, which were created for two popular computer roleplaying games (Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous) using the Pathfinder First Edition ruleset, and which were included in a Pathfinder Second Edition book. Additionally, dozens of magic tattoos have been converted as well! For ease of reading and use, both sets of items are grouped together in their own section within this book, after the wondrous items.

Many of these magic items might be perfect for your campaigns!

Where needed, 7 spells have been reprinted, with one each from Conversion Series: Spells 1 and 3, one from the upcoming Conversion Series: Spells 4, and four from the upcoming Conversion Series: Spells 5.

Amazing Books: The Inventor (Aardvark Press)

With this post, I begin a new column on my Patreon presenting books by my friends. If you wish for me to present your books too, just give me a call!

This post already appeared for patrons only on my Patreon page. If you wish to see stuff in advance and have access to other rewards, please consider donating!

I want to tell you about a new ebook recently released by a writer friend of mine, by Julian of Aardvark Press, on DriveThru.

Conversion Series: The Inventor

Presented in this book is a conversion of the inventor class for Pathfinder First Edition, from the Pathfinder Second Edition Guns & Gears book. The inventor is a technology-focused skill-based class that can perform a variety of roles. Inventors are intelligent characters who use their inventions to good effect. They may be melee-focused, defense-focused, have some ability to deal blasting damage, and/or focus on creating gadgets (consumable one-use items that last for the day) that provide them with options on adventures.

An inventor gains an innovation that represents their preeminent work, which can be a suit of armor, construct, or weapon. In addition, inventors gain unstable actions, which are experimental applications of their innovation that even the inventor can’t fully predict. Unstable actions can be used to create explosions or many other effects.

Like an alchemist or investigator, inventors gain discoveries that allow them to improve their innovation, gain additional uses of unstable actions, gain the ability to create temporary gadgets, and much more!

Also included are sixteen archetypes for the class, all but one of which are new. Finally, there are new discoveries and innovations that are in addition to the converted Pathfinder Second Edition ones, and a miscellany section (including new equipment, new feats, sample build suggestions, and more!).

This new class might be perfect for your campaigns!
