Mythic Feat: Polyglot Familiar

 Here’s a new missing mythic feat that could soon be included into a new project.

Polyglot Familiar (Familiar, Mythic)

Your familiar can be your interpreter to different peoples and costumes.

Prerequisite: Polyglot Familiar, Improved Familiar or equivalent wizard level 9th.

Benefits: Your familiar learns how to speak and read a number of languages (see Linguistics)  equal to ½ its Intelligence score. In addition, the Polyglot Familiar feat counts as the speak with animals of its kind familiar ability for the purpose of qualifying for archetypes. If the familiar takes an archetype that replaces the speak with animal of its kind ability, it loses the benefits from Polyglot Familiar, but not those from Mythic Polyglot Familiar.

Shapeless Familiar (Mythic)

Your familiar gains a more powerful alternate form.

Prerequisite: Shapeless Familiar.

Benefit: Your familiar’s change shape universal monster ability can function now as any one transmutation (polymorph) spell of a level you could cast (even if it’s not on your spell list). Your familiar’s alternate shape must not be the same size of its base form. Every time you gain a new spell level, you can replace your familiar’s alternate form with another.

New Mythic Feat: Changeling Familiar

 I will mythicize every existing familiar feat sooner or later, for a… new project (shhhh).

Changeling Familiar (Mythic)

Your familiar is indistinguishable from a human when it changes shape.

Prerequisite: Changeling Familiar

Benefit: Your familiar can select among one humanoid form for every 2 mythic tiers you possess every time it changes shape. Its humanoid forms bear no more any mark of the familiar’s true nature. If the familiar’s Intelligence is more than animal, when in humanoid form it can speak any language that it can normally understand when in its base form.

Prankster’s Disguise Feat

The first archetypes made specifically for familiars in Pathfinder had a dedicated feat each. The following ones, though, had not. Who else thinks that’s a shame? I do and intend to correct it!

Prankster’s Disguise (Familiar)

Your familiar is able to keep even its true identity hidden to others- and to you.

Prerequisite: Must have a familiar with the Prankster archetype.

Benefit: Your familiar gains the change shape universal monster ability (if it didn’t possess that already) and is able to transform itself at will into a different creature of its type and size. When disguised as a creature of a different alignment, the familiar will detect as that creature and have an aura of the corresponding alignment for the purpose of divination spells and effects. This is otherwise just a cosmetic change: the attacks, special qualities and magic abilities of the familiar are not altered.
