Patron Request: Koada’Dal (High Elves) from EverQuest II

Koada’Dal (High Elves)

High elves are physically frail but highly magical. Some of them claim they are the “original” or “purebreed” elves, who came from other, distant worlds in ancient times. High elves have the following racial traits.

Constant Spell-Like Divination (3 RP): High elves can use detect magic as a constant spell-like ability. This replaces weapon familiarity.

Skill Training (1 RP): High elves select any two Knowledge skills at character creation. These are always considered class skills for them. This replaces keen senses.

Ophelia Polksmandotter, Level 1

 Time for another build- that uses the bloodrager bloodline from last time…

The second lady in the trio from The Broken Brides of Europe lost her life, her sanity and her trust in the world because of her lover. Shakespearian critics suggested that Ophelia was pregnant when Hamlet’s cruel words drove her to suicide- therefore her insistence in quoting “rue”, an abortive herb. Aaron accepts this hypothesis and takes it to its extreme consequences. Ophelia is a woman who lost everything -her father, brother, child, and herself- and now, after some centuries in a sort of limbo, receives a new body and a new purpose in life. Madness still accompanies her, and it may be a blessing, because it protects her broken mind from an unspeakable sorrow; her newfound powers will protect her and her new “sisters” from more physical menaces.

Stormborn Bloodrager Bloodline

 There still are many sorcerer bloodlines without an equivalent for Bloodrager- and as long as the OGL 1.0 is still valid, I will continue working on missing links of PF1E.

This one in particular will be useful for… a CERTAIN new character, in addition to being featured in my newest book, Expanded Bloodragers! (More on it tomorrow)

Stormborn Bloodrager Bloodline

You trace your heritage to fierce and proud spirits of storm and sky; living lightning, thunder, and wind sing in your veins when you bloodrage.

Bonus Feats Dodge, Intimidating Prowess, Lightning Reflexes, Lightning Rager, Thundering Spell, Toughness, Wind Stance.

Bonus Spells: shocking grasp (7th), gust of wind (10th), lightning bolt (13th), shout(16th)

Bloodline Powers: You become a majestic incarnation of unchained storm power when you bloodrage.

Thunderstrike (Su): At 1st level, as a swift action up to three times a day you can infuse your attacks with lightning. When you do, your melee attacks gain the shockweapon special ability for 1 round. At 12th level, you can use this ability five times per day, and the effect is treated as shocking burst.

Stormchild (Ex): At 4th level, you gain resist electricity 5 and resist sonic 5, and treat wind effects as being one step less severe. At 12th level, you treat wind effects as being two steps less severe and gain blindsense 60 feet against concealment from natural or magical fog, mist, or weather effects.

Peal of Thunder (Su): At 8th level, when you confirm a critical hit the target must succeed at a Fortitude saving throw or be permanently deafened. The DC of this save is equal to 10 + ½ your bloodrager level + your Constitution modifier. If you also possess the Deafening Critical feat or a thundering or thunderburst weapon, the effects don’t stack.

Unstoppable Storm (Sp): At 12th level, the electricity damage done by your thunderstrike bloodline ability bypasses electricity resistance, and still deals half damage to creatures with immunity to electricity.

Ride the Lightning (Sp): At 16th level, once per day while bloodraging you can become a living lightning bolt and charge in a straight line up to 10 times your speed. You do not provoke attacks of opportunity while moving in this way. You can make one attack at your highest base attack bonus against every creature or object in your path and finish with a normal charge attack at the end of your movement, applying your thunderstrike power to all these attacks (this does not expend an use of thunderstrike). Creatures do not block your movement but solid barriers do unless they are reduced to 0 hit points.

Storm Lord (Ex): At 20th level, you are one with the storm. You gain immunity to deafness, stunning, and wind effects and gain blindsight 120 feet against concealment from natural or magical fog, mist, or weather. You have these benefits constantly, even while not bloodraging. Once per day, when attacked with an electricity or sonic effect, you may forgo your saving throw and absorb the energies of the attack, healing 1 point of damage for every 3 points of damage the attack would otherwise have dealt.

Fier'Dal (Wood Elves)

Wood elves are a sturdy kin living in the woods. They don't care much for arcane magic and live closer to natural rhythms. More civilized and urbanite elves often consider them as "savages" or "wild". Wood elves have the following racial traits.

Ability Score Modifiers: +2 Dex, +2 Wis, -2 Con.

Darkvision 60 ft. (2 RP): This replaces elven immunities.

Farsight (2 RP): Wood elves can see twice as far as other races in normal light conditions. This and skill training replace elven magic.

Skill Training (1 RP): Wood elves always consider Perception and Stealth as class skills.

Weapon Familiarity (2 RP): Wood elves are proficient with longbows (including composite longbows), longspears, shortspears, and shortbows (including composite shortbows), and treat any weapon with the word “elven” in its name as a martial weapon. This alters weapon familiarity.

 In The Broken Brides of Europe, Cyrano and his fellows Bards come on stage again to gather and support their specular trio of Shakespearian heroines in their fight against unspeakable otherworldly horrors. Each Bard finds to have something in common with one of the ladies… in our bold poet-philosopher’s case, will the fiery sword and wit of the brazen Juliet catch off-guard a heart too much battered by time and unrequited love?
