Patron Request: Epsilon Humans from Etherscope

Epsilon Humans (12 RP)

Epsilon humans are a strong and hardy breed, developed from the same stock as the gammas. However, they were not bred for intelligence. The main breeding development was their lack of spirit, compliance with instructions and inability to stand up for themselves. Epsilons are even more compliant than deltas. They have the following racial traits.

Ability Score Modifiers: Paragon (1 RP) +4 Str, -2 Int, -2 Wis, -2 Cha. This replaces human heritage.

Improved Lifting (2 RP): An epsilon’s Strength is considered as 2 points higher for the purpose of determining their carrying capacity and encumbrance.

Mythic Healing Potion

Your potions are panaceas even for the seriously wounded.

Prerequisites: Healing Potion, Mythic Brew Potion, able to cast cure spells.

Benefits: You can add to your potions the effects of a cure spell of any level, and there’s no limit to the potion’s combined level. You also must pay only the two spells’ combined cost once to create such a potion. If you choose to pay twice the two spells’ combined cost, you can add to your potion the effects of a mythic cure spell you know how to cast instead.

 I plan to give you every bloodline, patron and school familiar that’s yet uncovered… somewhere and somewhen (heh, heh).

Peace: Soothing Hum (Sp): The familiar’s hum, purr, or chitter can placate anger and fear. Once per day, it can use calm emotions as a spell-like ability. This only works on negative emotion effects.

Ability Score Modifiers: Standard (0 RP) +2 Con, +2 Wis, -2 Int. This replaces human heritage.

Scent (Advanced Trait, 4 RP) Delta humans gain the scent ability.

New Feat: Dancing Slice

Dancing Slice (Combat)

You use your traditional weapons with grace and agility.

Prerequisites: Dexterity 13, Weapon Finesse, Weapon Focus with the selected weapon.

Benefit: When wielding a one-handed monk weapon, you can use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier on melee attack rolls. You treat the selected weapon as a one-handed piercing weapon for all feats and class abilities that require such a weapon (such as a duelist’s precise strike ability). The selected weapon must be suited for a creature of your size. You cannot use this feat if you are carrying a weapon or shield in your off hand.

Ancestral Weaponry

Monks from non-human races learned to incorporate their unique forms of fighting into their martial arts teachings.

Prerequisites: Weapon familiarity racial trait, monk level 1st.

Benefit: You treat your racial weapons as monk weapons for the purpose of monk class abilities and prerequisites.

Revised Rogue Talents for Familiars

 I think it’s great that a rogue can have a familiar, though it must wait until 12th level to gain the Familiar advanced talent.

But why should an Eldritch Scoundrel (a rogue with arcane powers and spells) have to wait so much as well, when a magus can get a familiar at 3rd level instead?! And what about multiclass rogues/arcane casters?

So I reskinned and added to these. Enjoy.

Rogue Talents

Familiar (Ex): A rogue with this talent gains a familiar as the familiar option of the wizard’s arcane bond class feature. This ability functions exactly like that part of the class feature, but the rogue’s effective wizard level is her rogue level –4. The rogue must be able to cast 1st-level arcane spells before she can choose this talent. If the rogue already has a familiar from another source, she can instead add her rogue levels to her equivalent wizard level to calculate her familiar’s abilities. This is a normal rogue talent, not an advanced talent. This talent is also available to investigators and slayers to select.

Rogue Advanced Talents

Improved Familiar (Ex): The rogue gains Improved Familiar as a bonus feat. The rogue must have a familiar -either from the familiar rogue talent or some other source- in order to gain this advanced talent. Slayers can select this as an advanced slayer talent.

Companion Hex (Familiar)

Your companion shares your hexes just as it does with your spells.

Prerequisites: Hex class feature, must have a familiar, eidolon, phantom, or animal companion with the share spells ability.

Benefits: You can use on your companion creature hexes that normally have effect only on yourself (e.g., the disguise or fly witch hexes). If you use such a hex on yourself and your companion creature at the same time, it counts as only one use of that hex.

Summon Guardian Spirit (Mythic)

Your guardian spirit cares for you and remains much longer to your side.

Prerequisite: Summon Guardian Spirit.

Benefit: When you summon your guardian spirit, the duration of the spell you use to summon it is 1 hour per level. In addition, while summoned, the guardian spirit has all the special abilities of a familiar as if you were a wizard of your same level.
