The Purifier Prestige Class

Here is my first attempt at a prestige class for the Spheres system. I had created this for the Witch Raider originally, before deciding he was better as he was.

The Purifier
A purifier is the most devout servant of a good deity, dedicating to fight his faith’s enemies and spread his god’s word. Most purifiers are paladins (of any good alignment) or inquisitors, but any motivated divine caster can aspire to this role, even if it’s difficult to be admitted in this order and even more difficult to follow its edicts. Purifiers of LG deities can act as a group, but more often a purifier carries on lone quests, guided by his own conscience and sense of right and wrong.

Requirement
To qualify to become a purifier, a character must fulfill all the following criteria.

Alignment: Any good.
Base Attack Bonus: +6.
Skills: Knowledge (religion) 4 ranks.
Magic: A sphere magic caster level of at least 5, with a divine casting tradition.
Special: Must worship a good deity, and complete a quest assigned by his deity before being ordained.

Class Skills: The purifier class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Handle Animal (Cha), Heal (Wis), Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (nobility) (Int), Knowledge (planes) (Int), Knowledge (religion) (Int), Perception (Wis), Profession (Wis), Ride (Dex), Sense Motive (Wis), and Spellcraft (Int).

Weapon and Armor Proficiency A purifier gains proficiency with his deity’s favored weapon.
Paladin’s Code: A purifier must follow his deity’s paladin code and suffers the same penalties as a paladin for violating it.
Casting A purifier is considered a High-Caster. He may use Intelligence, Wisdom or Charisma as his casting ability modifier and must make this choice at 1st level. Once made, this choice cannot be changed.
Divine Combat The purifier counts his base attack bonus as his fighter level for the purpose of qualifying for and using feats that apply to his deity’s favored weapon (or to a weapon he designed as sacred by taking the Weapon Focus feat, as a warpriest). He gains a bonus combat feat to apply to his deity’s favored weapon at 2nd and 5th level.

Divine Portfolio At 1st level, the purifier gains one sphere corresponding to one of his deity’s granted domains (or a talent belonging to one such sphere) as a bonus talent. If the purifier possesses one or more domains from another class, he must select a sphere corresponding to one of these.

Evil’s Enemy (Su) A purifier counts his class levels as paladin levels for the purpose of the smite evil ability, or as inquisitor levels for the purpose of the judgment ability. Abilities that replace smite evil or judgment but count as either (like the covenant with the gods ability of the shield of the gods archetype) count as the original feature for this ability’s purpose. If the purifier possesses both smite evil and judgment from other classes, he must choose which ability he wants to increase with this feature. If he possesses neither of these abilities, he instead gains smite evil as a paladin of his purifier level.

Spell Points A purifier gains a small reservoir of energy he can call on to create truly wondrous effects, called a spell pool. This pool contains a number of spell points equal to his class level + his Wisdom or Charisma modifier (minimum: 1). This pool replenishes once per day after roughly 8 hours of rest.

Variable Talents A purifier gains 1 magic talent or martial talent (if using Spheres of Might) every time he gains a level, as defined in Table: Purifier.

Divine Companion (Su) At 2nd level, the purifier’s deity grants him a faithful celestial companion to help him in his crusade against evil. This functions as an antipaladin’s fiendish servant, except the companion is either a creature with the good subtype and an alignment within one step from the purifier or a celestial animal. The purifier uses his caster level as his effective level to calculate his divine companion’s abilities. If the purifier already had an animal companion, bonded mount, cohort, familiar, eidolon, or the bound creature boon, he can treat his companion creature as his divine companion, stacking his purifier levels to other levels he possesses to calculate its abilities.

Aura of Great Courage (Su) At 3rd level, the purifier gains an aura of courage equivalent to that of a 3rd-level paladin. If the purifier already has this ability, the aura’s range increases to 20 feet.

Discern Lies (Sp) At 4th level, a purifier gains the discern lies ability as an inquisitor of the same level. If he already possessed this ability from another class, the levels stack.

Holy Word (Su) At 5th level, a purifier can speak a holy word (as the spell) a number of times per day equal to his casting ability modifier (minimum 1/day). The ability functions as if cast by a caster of a level equal to the purifier’s total character level. This is a supernatural effect.

Half-Elf Add +1 ft of range to the purifier’s aura of courage and discern lies abilities.
Half-orc Gain DR 1/adamantine.
Halfling Gain ⅕th of a bonus chance feat.
