New Magic Item: Violin of the Sea Temple

This is a variant of the harp of storms that couldn’t miss in the arsenal of my latest warrior. She’s s gifted violinist and uses her instrument to do magic in the manga, after all (another reason why I decided to make her an occultist). Would you believe that there was NO magic violin in Paizo material? Well, now the gap is filled.

Violin of the Sea Temple

Aura faint enchantment, moderate evocation; CL 9th

Slot none; Price 30,375 gp; Weight 1 lb.

Description

This violin is made of silver and decorated with lapis lazuli patterns in form of whirlpool and waves. Up to three times per day as a standard action, you can play the violin to produce one of the following three effects. Each effect requires a successful Perform (string) skill check.

• Aquatic Dissonance: You produce a single strident note that stuns all creatures in a 30-ft. radius for 1 minute (Fort saving throw to negate, DC 13)
• Charm Sea Creatures: You may make friends with sea-dwelling creatures as if using charm person (Will saving throw to negate, DC 11).
• Water Detonation: You can cause an explosion of waves duplicating the effects of a detonate (water) spell (Ref saving throw for half, DC 16)
