Simple class template: Yamabushi creature

Along with the Bloodline Disciple prestige classes, another project that's been in my closet for a long time are 3PP simple class templates for monsters. Let's begin with a class I always liked, the Yamabushi (Sublime Transmuter) by Zombie Sky Press.

Yamabushi Creature

(CR +2 or +3)

Through meditation and contemplation, some beings learn to blend arcane and divine energies to modify their body and abilities in unique ways. A yamabushi creature has limited access to contemplations associated with its chosen path. Select a path when the template is added. A yamabushi creature’s CR increases by 2 if the creature has 7 or more HD, and it increases by 3 if the creature has 13 or more HD.

Key Ability: Charisma

Quick Rules: +2 on all rolls based on Cha; can use a contemplation of its chosen path once per day (using HD – 2 as its yamabushi level to determine the effect and DC, minimum 1); can cast a small number of yamabushi spells (see table below) using its HD as its CL.

Rebuild Rules: Special Abilities  contemplation once per day (using HD – 2 as its yamabushi level to determine the effect and DC, minimum 1); Yamabushi Spells can cast a small number of yamabushi spells (see table below) using its HD as its CL; Ability Scores +4 Charisma.
