Hunters are similar to rangers, but their combat style is more concentrated on protecting their chosen territory along with their bonded animal companion.
Magic Type: Divine
Casting Ability Modifier: Wisdom
Bonus Combat Talents:
Equipment: Huntsman Training
Beastmastery Sphere
Guardian Sphere (patrol package)
Variable: Hunters gain either the Scout sphere or a bonus talent of their choice from the Beastmastery or Equipment sphere.
Bonus Magic Talents: Alteration sphere, Nature sphere (Limited Nature x2, Master of Elements plus Friend to Wildlife or Speak with Wildlife)
Drawbacks: Focus Casting, Verbal Casting; Animal Shaman (Mind)
Boon: +1 spell point, +1 per three levels in casting classes.
Bonus Skill Talents:
Automatic Trade Talents: Handler, Roughrider
Trade Talent Class Skills: Climb, Handle Animal, Knowledge (nature), Ride, SurvivalR, Swim.
* Increased skill bonus to Handle Animal and Ride checks.
Automatic Skill Sphere: Survivalism sphere (harvest package).
Adroit Trade Talents: Aberration Hunter, Monster Hunter
Trade Talent Class Skills: Appraise, Heal, Intimidate, Knowledge (arcana), Knowledge (dungeoneering), Spellcraft, Stealth.
R Knowledge (geography) in place of redundant Survival.
Adroit Bonus Skill Talents: Communication sphere (Animal Whisperer drawback) or Survivalism sphere (any one harvest talent).
