A commlink is a commset that is implanted directly in the brain. It can usually transmit on one crypted frequency only and is mainly used by the military. A commlink doesn’t include a built-in recording camera. It can be recharged via a port on the side of the skull.

This is a powerful cylex bomb that can be implanted into a creature as a form of coercition, for suicide attacks, or as the last resource for an agent fallen in the hands of enemies. The detonator can be given to the creature bearing the implant, or to another creature. When activated, or when the bearer dies or is destroyed, it does the same damage as a cylex charge to the bearer and everything else within 40 feet. Since the bomb is constructed to be safe and secret, there’s no risk of accidentally activating it through electricity damage.

Implanted Weaponry, Chest Price 20,000 gp (special)

A single two-handed firearm or heavy weapon can be implanted within a creature’s body slot. Such a weapon fires as a standard action through the creature’s mouth or a port on the chest. The creature activates the weapon via mental impulses or hidden triggers on its palms or upper palate. An implanted two-handed firearm or heavy weapon is much easier to notice, only requiring a DC 15 Perception check. Each weapon has statistics identical to its normal form. Weapons that need ammunition reload through a breach in the chest or back, increasing the reloading time of the weapon to a full-round action, or doubling reloading times that already take a full round or longer. Implanted weaponry can be damaged or destroyed by sundering, but cannot be disarmed. The cost, price, and weight of the weapon to be implanted are added to the cost, price, and weight listed in this stat block.

Install DC 30; Implantation 4

A single heavy weapon can be implanted in a cybernetic leg. Such a weapon is fired as a standard action by kneeling and opening the leg, thus revealing the weapon’s muzzle at the knee’s height. The weapon still needs to be operated with both hands. An implanted heavy weapon is much easier to notice, only requiring a DC 15 Perception check. Each weapon has statistics identical to its normal form. Weapons that need ammunition reload through a breach in the leg, increasing the reloading time of the weapon to a full-round action, or doubling reloading times that already take a full round or longer. Implanted weaponry can be damaged or destroyed by sundering, but cannot be disarmed. Weaponry installed in a cybernetic leg does not count against a creature’s implantation limit. The cost, price, and weight of the weapon to be implanted are added to the cost, price, and weight listed in this stat block.
