Bestiary: Giant Cat

Giant cats are not the same as lions or tigers. They retain a housecat's personality in a body much larger. So they deserved a bestiary entry all for them. ^_^

Special Abilities

Oddly Agile (Ex): A giant cat adds its Dexterity modifier to Climb skill checks rather than its Strength modifier.
Playful (Ex): Whenever a giant cat grabs a creature, it can choose not to inflict any damage to it in a round. When it uses its rake ability on a grappled creature, it can choose to inflict double the listed damage as nonlethal damage.

Created by magic, giant cats most often haunt old castles or isolated forests, or are the companions of humorous rangers and spellcasters.
