A little Fochlucan Lyrist, a little Arcane Hierophant, and a little Green Whisperer: I tried to take the best points of each to make something useful both for druid/bards and ranger/bards.

Woodland Lyrist
Singers of the wilderness, sages and enchanters of animals, woodland lyrists understand the music of the natural world. They guide and protect adventurers, defend natural places from abuse and befriend special animal companions, using both bardic and divine magic to accomplish their purposes. Bard or skalds who take some interest in the druid, hunter, or ranger way are the most likely woodland lyrists.

Class Features
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Woodland lyrists gain no proficiency with any weapon or armor.
Spells per Day/Spells Known: At each level, a woodland lyrist gains new spells per day as if she had also gained a level in any one arcane spellcasting class and any one divine spellcasting class to which she belonged before adding the prestige class level. She does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained, except for additional spells per day, spells known (if she is a spontaneous caster), and an increased effective level of spellcasting. If she had more than one arcane spellcasting class or divine spellcasting class before becoming a woodland lyrist, she must decide to which class to add each woodland lyrist level for the purpose of determining spells per day, spells known, and overall caster level.
Bardic Knowledge (Ex): At 1st level, a woodland lyrist adds half her class level to all Knowledge skill checks and may make such checks untrained. The bonuses gained from this ability stack with those gained from bardic knowledge checks.
Wilderness Cantor: A woodland lyrist’s class levels stack with her levels in any other classes for determining her animal companion, bardic performance, and wild empathy class features. A woodland lyrist’s animal companion has an Intelligence score equal to that of a familiar belonging to a wizard of the woodland lyrist’s equivalent druid level.
Improved Empathic Link (Su): At 2nd level, a woodland lyrist gains an empathic link with her animal companion. This functions like an empathic link with a familiar, except the woodland lyrist can also see through a companion’s eyes as a swift action, maintaining this connection as long as she likes (as long as the companion is within 1 mile) and ending it as a free action. The woodland lyrist is blinded while maintaining this connection. If the woodland lyrist already possesses improved empathic link from another class, she instead adds her levels in woodland lyrist to her levels in that class for determining when she gains improved empathic link and greater empathic link.
Soothe the Savage Beast (Ex): At 5th level, creatures with the animal, fey, magical beast, and plant are affected by the woodland lyrist’s bardic performances and by her charm or compulsion spells as if they were humanoids.
Channel Animal (Sp): At 8th level, while using her barding performance, the woodland lyrist can expend two performance rounds to establish a magical conduit between herself and a single animal that she touches (including her animal companion). For each use of this class feature, a spell she casts whose range is touch or greater can originate from the animal instead of from the woodland lyrist, provided that she can see the animal and it would be in the spell’s range from her. She can also use this power to deliver touch spells through the animal.
Natural Harmony (Sp): At 10th level, the woodland lyrist gains the hunter’s raise animal companion ability, using her woodland lyrist level as her equivalent hunter level; levels in this prestige class stack with hunter level for determining the ability’s effect. In addition, her channel animal ability functions also on creatures of the plant type.
