Melnibonéans (Advanced Race, 13 RP)
Born in a distant world where they dominated everything with magic, melnibonéans are one’s of the most ancient races in the universe, made aloof and cruel by a long exercise of too much power, though some of them can develop feelings and detach themselves from their kin’s ways.
Ability Score Modifiers: Specialized (1 RP) +2 Int, +2 Wis, -2 Con
Type: Humanoid (0 RP) Melnibonéans are humanoids with the melnibonéan subtype.
Size: Medium (0 RP)
Base Speed: Normal (0 RP) 30 ft.
Languages: Linguist (1 RP) Melnibonéans start the game knowing Common, High Melnibonéan, and Low Melnibonéan. Melnibonéan with high Intelligence scores can learn any languages they want (except Druidic and other secret languages).
Defense Racial Traits
Stubborn (2 RP): Melnibonéans gain a +2 racial bonus on Will saving throws to resist spells and spell-like abilities of the enchantment (charm) and enchantment (compulsion) subschools. In addition, if a melnibonéan fails such a save, he receives another save 1 round later to prematurely end the effect (assuming the spell or spell-like ability has a duration greater than 1 round). This second save is made at the same DC as the first. If a melnibonéan has a similar ability from another source (such as a rogue’s slippery mind class feature), it can only use one of these abilities per round, but can try the other on the second round if the first reroll ability fails.
Feat and Skills Abilities
Noble Wizard (5 RP): Melnibonéans gain a +2 racial bonus on Intimidate and Spellcraft skill checks. Intimidate and Spellcraft are always class skills for them.
Potion Brewer (1 RP): Melnibonéans gain a +2 racial bonus on Craft (alchemy) skill checks.
Shards of the Past (2 RP): Melnibonéans gain a +2 racial bonus on Knowledge (arcana) and Knowledge (Planes), and those skills are treated as class skills regardless of what class they actually take.

Familiar Predisposition (3 RP): A mélnibonean with this racial trait begins the game with a lesser familiar as per the Familiar Bond feat. This racial trait counts as Familiar Bond for all prerequisites and replaces the linguist and shards of the past racial traits.
