Third in the series of converted dragons, the jacinth dragon is a servant of the sun gods.

Jacinth Dragon
This slender dragon sparkles in the morning lights as if it was surrounded by hundreds of shiny motes of every shade of red and pink. An aura of warmth radiates from its body.

Special Abilities
Hypnotic Shades (Su): A young or older jacinth dragon has the innate ability to interplay the shades of its skin so as to have a hypnotic effect on viewers. All creatures trying to attack the dragon suffer a -3 penalty on initiative rolls.
Light Reflection (Su): The shining scales of a mature adult or older jacinth dragon reflect any light on onlookers and amplify it. When in presence of bright light, either natural or caused by a spell or other effect, the dragon can redirect the light against one creature within 30 feet as a standard action. If the target fails a Reflex saving throw it’s blinded for 1 round per age category of the dragon.
Solar Aura (Su): By shifting and maneuvering its scales, a great wyrm jacinth dragon is able to surround itself with a blazing aura of flame and light with a radius of 5 feet. Any creature within this aura at the beginning of the dragon’s turn takes 1d6 points of fire damage and must succeed at a Fortitude saving throw or be dazzled for 1 round. The dragon can activate or suppress its solar aura as a free action,
Spell-Like Abilities (Sp): A jacinth dragon gains the following spell-like abilities, usable at will upon reaching the listed age category.
Very Young- hypnotism
Juvenile- burning gaze
Adult- elemental aura (fire only)
Old- cleansing fire
Ancient- healing flames
Great Wyrm- fire storm
Environment hot deserts
Organization solitary
Treasure triple
The extremely rare jacynth dragons are gentle guardians of places where light and heat are stronger. Though they prefer to be alone, travelers that don’t bring violence are welcome in their lands. Some desert tribes venerate jacinth dragons as messengers of solar deities.
Jacinth Dragon Bloodline
A jacinth dragon’s energy type is fire and its granted breath weapon is a 30-foot cone for the purpose of a sorcerer or bloodrager taking the draconic bloodline, an oracle taking the Dragon mystery, and similar effects.
