Ninja Unified Tradition for Champions/Legends of the Spheres

Like monks, ninjas are known to use magic in many fantasy settings.

Ninjas are both spies and martial artists, lurking in shadows and striking suddenly and mercilessly. Some of them even resort to magic.

Magic Type: Psychic

Casting Ability Modifier: Intelligence

Bonus Combat Talents:

Equipment: Ninjutsu Training

Open Hand Sphere

Scout Sphere

Variable: Ninjas gain either the Scoundrel sphere or one talent of their choice from the Equipment sphere.

Bonus Magic Talents: Dark sphere, Quick Meld, Illusion sphere

Drawbacks: Mental Focus, Somatic Casting, Verbal Casting; Lycanthropic (Alteration), Figment Companion (Conjuration), Personal Meld (Dark), Personal Magics (Enhancement), Personal Time (Time), Personal Warp (Warp)

Boons: Drawback Feat (Powerful Focus); +1 spell point, +1 per 6 levels in casting classes

Bonus Skill Talents:

Automatic Trade Talents: Burglar, Spy.

Trade Talent Class Skills: BluffR, Disable Device, Disguise, Escape Artist, Sense Motive, Sleight of Hand, Stealth*.

* Increased skill bonus to Stealth checks.

Automatic Skill Sphere: Subterfuge sphere.

Adroit Trade Talents: Athlete, Orator.

Trade Talent Class Skills: Acrobatics, Climb, Diplomacy, Fly, Intimidate, Knowledge (history), Swim.

R Knowledge (local) in place of redundant Bluff.

Adroit Bonus Skill Talents: Body Control sphere or the Subterfuge sphere (Adaptable Appearance talent).

* In place of the bonus combat talents here, a ninja can select those of the Ninjutsu martial tradition from Spheres of Might.
