I struggled so much to find a suitable build for this character in Pathfinder. In Gestalt, it was so much easier. I can even give him psionic powers later, thanks to the right feats and abilities.

Signature- Battle Frenzy: Your Rage lasts for 6 rounds instead of 3.
Rage: Take a “Transform” action to rage. While in this state you gain a bonus on damage rolls that rely on Strength equal to your level. While raging you become Off-Guard 3 (this reduces your AC by 3). This state lasts for 3 rounds. Once it ends you cannot enter it for 2 rounds.
While raging, you can’t take actions that require concentration or presence of mind, and your speech is limited to short answers and guttural grunts. Additionally, you cannot make use of anything technological or that requires presence of mind to operate. Finally, you are prohibited from making skill checks that rely on Dexterity or Intelligence.
Fast Movement: Your land speed improves by 20 feet.
Secondary Class Features
Bodyguard: You can make a Counter reaction against an attack directed at an adjacent ally. Roll your Defense (Dex) + your armor bonus against the attack roll. If you meet or exceed the triggering attack roll, you take the attack instead of the original target. This attack automatically hits you if you succeed.
Boost: You can spend a Hero Dice after successfully using this class feature while wearing heavy (or heavier) armor to gain Absolute Resist against that attack’s damage.
Subdual: You can cause any physical damage you deal to be non-lethal physical damage. You may choose to do this on a per-attack basis.

Lucky (Halfish): You add 3 Hero Dice to your personal Hero Dice pool at the start of each session and recover up to 5 Hero Dice with a short rest (if you were below that number).

Biography
Gunnar’s father was a honorable viking warrior who was framed by his rival before the council of the elders for a crime he had not committed, and was forced to flee his homeland with his wife and baby son, relentlessly pursued by his enemy. When they came in halfish territory, the man trusted his family to the halfkin’s care and went to confront his enemy alone. He never returned, and the wife died herself of sorrow not long after. Gunnar was raised by the halfkin, but his warrior blood pushed him to search for glory and avenge his parents, so one day he escaped the village. A foul curse is on him, the “blessing of the berserker” by the War God: when wounded in battle, he risks losing control of his rage and hurting foes and friends alike.
