Flustering Joke (utility)

When you influence the attitude of a creature, you can make a joke about your target  to incite hostility towards you. For the next minute, a flustered target takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls made against creatures other than you and has a 10% spell failure chance on all spells that do not target you or that have you within their area of effect. Associated Feat: Antagonize.

Stand-Up Comedy (Act)

Rather than a proper act, you perform an enfilading fire of jokes to bolster your allies’ morale and make your enemies feel ridiculized. You can only select this talent if your associated skill for the Performance sphere’s (act) package is Perform (comedy).

Tirade (approach): All allies in the area gain a +1 morale bonus on saving throws against mind-affecting effects. This bonus increases by +1 for every 5 ranks in Perform (comedy) you possess.

Ad Personam (scene, standard action): Whenever an enemy within the area attempts an attack against an ally and misses, that enemy gains the confused condition until its next successful attack.

Catchphrase (scene, move action): All allies in the area can use the highest attack and damage roll among all of them against confused enemies.

Punchline (finale, standard action): All enemies in the area must succeed at a Will saving throw. Confused enemies who fail become dumbfounded for a number of rounds equal to your operative ability modifier (minimum 1); on a successful save, they are instead shocked for the duration. A dumbfounded or shocked creature can make a Will save to reduce the condition as a standard action.

Enemies who were not confused and fail at their saving throw are uncertain for the same duration; on a successful save, they instead suffer no bad effects.

Stage Weapon

Cost 5-100 gp; Weight 2 lbs.

A stage weapon is normally a scenic tool with a blunt edge that can only do nonlethal damage when used in combat. A hidden button on its grip allows the wielder to retract the blade in the handle as a free action, doing no damage at all in a round. Any regular weapon can be made into a stage weapon (as if it were an additional weapon quality) by adding 100 gp to its cost.
