Pearl Dragon
Tiny rainbows shine on the opalescent scales of this beautiful aquatic dragon, profiled in the moonlight as a gigantic whale or vessel, half out of the sea water.

Special Abilities
Breath Weapon (Su): A pearl dragon’s breath weapon is a cone of scalding steam that deals fire damage.
Iridescent Sphere (Sp): Once per day, a great wyrm pearl dragon can create a protective barrier working as prismatic sphere, with a 100 ft. radius, lasting 1 round per age category of the dragon.
Mother-Of-Pearl Armor (Su): Once per day as a standard action, a very old or older pearl dragon can cover its body in an iridescent armor, granting it a +4 armor bonus to AC and DR 5/acid. This armor lasts for a number of rounds equal to the dragon’s age category. The pearl dragon can dismiss the armor as a free action.
Spell-Like Abilities (Sp): A pearl dragon gains the following spell-like abilities, usable at will upon reaching the listed age category.
Very Young- wave shield
Juvenile- silver darts
Adult- tail current
Old- geyser
Ancient- blazing rainbow
Great Wyrm- tsunami
Swallow Whole (Ex): A mature adult or older pearl dragon gains the swallow whole special attack. A swallowed creature suffers damage equal to the dragon’s bite damage each round and is slowly covered by mother-of-pearl, that stiffens its body and gives it a cumulative -1 penalty on attacks per round.
Swift Swimmer (Ex): A young or older pearl dragon increases its swim speed to 90 ft.

Pearl dragons serve the gods of the moon and sea. They are shy and contemplative, rarely letting humans or other sentient races see them. They only get involved if the security or tranquility of the sea is menaced. Adventurers can search them for their fabled knowledge and memory of the past.
Pearl Dragon Bloodline
A pearl dragon’s energy type is fire and its granted breath weapon is a 30-foot cone for the purpose of a sorcerer or bloodrager taking the draconic bloodline, an oracle taking the Dragon mystery, and similar effects.
